Practice Facilities

Cardigan Golf Club offers a variety of practice facilities for use by members.
Build on some expert tuition with a few sessions on the driving range or in the nets.
Hone your putting technique on the practice green.

Putting Practice

Adjacent to the first tee and overlooked by the clubhouse, is the practice putting green.
Minutes spent here before a round or as part of a course of instruction, can help save a number of strokes on the greens around the course.
The only way to develop a relaxed stance and that feel for pace and borrow, is through practice and then more practice!

Practice Hole

The practice hole offers a bit more space for those who want to practice approach shots, pitch and runs or chips.
Take time to develop skills that are not easily acquired during a round.

Chipping Greens

More strokes are lost around the green than from any other facet of the game.
It takes time to develop the feel required to manufacture and improvise , the chipping green provides an opportunity to perfect those delicate stroke saving chip shots.

Academy Area

The club is proud of the academy area, located just beyond the second green.
The area has a small 9 hole course for beginners, a practice bunker and an elevated driving range suitable even for the longest hitters.
Planning is in progress to further enhance the facility by providing a teaching bay and several covered driving bays.
